The Relief Zone fundraising committee is holding its 2019 Winter Prize Giveaway to benefit the non-profit organization.

The Relief Zone holds its annual prize giveaway to benefit children’s programming. Tickets can be purchased for a $5 donation by calling The Relief Zone at 569-2614.

This year’s first prize giveaway is a night stay on Chautauqua Lake at the Chautauqua Suites Hotel and Expo Center and a $50 voucher to dine at Olives At Chautauqua Suites. Second prize is a TRZ Mega Gift Basket valued at $250. Basket items include gift cards and certificates to Andriaccio’s, Panache Salon and Spa, Nouveau Salon and Day Spa, movie pass, candies and coffees.

Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased through Feb. 10 by calling TRZ at 569-2614 or emailing a request to trz@thereliefzone.org. The Relief Zone will sell a maximum of 1,000 tickets. The winning ticket will be drawn on Sunday, Feb. 10, during TRZ’s 3-On-3 Basketball Tournament at Frewsburg Junior-Senior High School. The winner does not need to be present at the tournament.

“Fundraising activities are critical to help us sustain and grow our school-age programming and year-round activities,” said Lisa Lyon, The Relief Zone executive director. “We rely upon the generosity of our donors for a portion of our funding and we are exceedingly grateful to area businesses, organizations, foundations, and the community-at-large who support these vital fundraising activities. Our registration fees are intentionally kept low so that every family can take advantage of our before and after school programming. Decades of research shows that before and afterschool programs help kids learn, grow, and avoid risky behaviors while giving parents peace of mind at work because they know their children are safe and engaging in fun learning opportunities.”
