The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is , a 1-2 year old small spayed female herding/terrier mix with beautiful markings. She’s a lively girl who requests a cat-free/young child-free home to make her life happy. She’s smart and already knows several commands; but she can be shy in new situations. An active home would be best for her breed and brains type. The shelter is located at 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield, and is open from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday or by appointment by calling 326-7297.
