Pictured around a memorial in honor of the late Virginia F. Lind given to the Marvin Community House are her husband, Robert C. Lind, and her children Robin Bonfiglio, Lori Lind and TR Lind.

In honor of the late Virginia F. Lind, the Marvin Community House received a donation from her family that includes a memorial stone and flagpole.

The flagpole is equipped with automatic sensors which illuminate the flag at night.

The Marvin Community House was one of the many civic organizations to which Mrs. Lind selflessly donated her time. During her years of service there she held the offices of trustee, president and committee chair; she was active on a variety of projects. Mrs. Lind was also honored as Woman of the Year in 1977.

The memorial not only honors Mrs. Lind but enhances the appearance of the stately mansion. The mission of the Marvin House is to foster the intellectual pursuits of members and friends by providing a convenient and hospitable meeting place.
