Learn Beginning Beekeeping At Audubon
Dennis and Laura Lamonica, owners of the Panama Bee Farm and longtime beekeepers, are presenting a workshop on Beginning Beekeeping at the Audubon Community Nature Center on Saturday, Feb. 23.
Keeping honeybees can be a daunting and complicated task.
The Audubon Community Nature Center is offering an opportunity to learn about the basic equipment and skills one needs to keep hives of honeybees. The program on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. will cover everything needed to begin beekeeping. The workshop will be taught by Dennis and Laura Lamonica, owners of the Panama Bee Farm and longtime beekeepers.
The fee is $16, $12 for members and youth ages 9 to 15.
