Turner Winter Series To Focus On Chautauqua Lake; Begins Tuesday

CHAUTAUQUA — The 2019 Turner Winter Series will be starting its 14th year on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the former Turner Elementary School.

The series is being dedicated nearly entirely to Chautauqua Lake. The first six sessions will feature one of the stakeholders each evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The schedule includes:

¯ Jan. 8: Erin Brickley and Pierre Chagnon of the Chautauqua Lake Alliance;

¯ Jan. 22: Doug Conroe of the Chautauqua Lake Association;

¯ Feb. 12: Jim Wehrfritz and Tom Erlandson of the Chautauqua Lake Partnership;

¯ Feb. 26: John Shedd from Chautauqua Institution;

¯ March 12: John Jablonski of the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy; and

¯ March 26: County Executive George Borrello and Dave McCoy from Chautauqua County.

More may be scheduled thereafter.

The goal is to be informative and instructive. it will be an interview format with each organization invited to be bring an additional speaker to be part of the panel. The presentations will be taped and shared through YouTube.
