‘Solutions For Vertigo’ Workshop To Be Held

Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy will hold a free workshop, “Solutions for Vertigo” from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy in the Riverwalk Center, 15 S. Main St., Jamestown.

Dr. Christopher Saxton will present material on a variety of options to address vertigo effectively. Symptoms are experienced by millions –at least 69 million people in the United States have suffered from vertigo at some point and about 8 million Americans suffer from chronic balance issues regularly, according to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders.

“We are pleased that Dr. Saxton will address questions and explain how physical therapy can successfully address vertigo in a few visits without the use of drugs.” said Judi Goerke, Chautauqua Physical and Occupational Therapy patient development director.
