Holiday Potluck Luncheon At Audubon Dec. 20

The public is invited to contribute a favorite dish to a potluck luncheon with Audubon Community Nature Center staff and volunteers on Thursday, Dec. 20.

Audubon Community Nature Center staff and volunteers will host a festive potluck luncheon and some holiday fun on Thursday, Dec. 20.

The public is invited to attend. Those attending should arrive by noon with a dish to pass and table service. Those attending can also bring their potluck recipe to share.

There will be a collection for the Chautauqua County Office of Mental Hygiene Mobile Transition Team. A donation of a new or gently used adult-sized jacket, sweater, boots, heavy pants or warm socks will allow the team to provide much needed winter clothing to their clients.

Reservations for the luncheon are appreciated and can be made through the Programs page at auduboncnc.org or by calling 569-2345. Walk-ins are welcome.

The Audubon Community Nature Center is located at 1600 Riverside Road, one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown and Warren. The three-story Nature Center contains interactive displays, a collection of live animals, and the Blue Heron Gift Shop; building hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. The 600-acre wetland preserve with its more than five miles of trails for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing, and Liberty, the non-releasable Bald Eagle, can be visited from dawn until dusk daily.

Starting at $3.50/week.
