The Chautauqua Lake Yacht Club, founded in 1936, recently brought together 44 years of past commodores, starting with Joe Mitchell in 1974. Louise Bakewell is the current 2018 commodore and the second woman to hold the position after Joan Erickson for the 2002-2003 seasons.
