Sons Of The American Legion Elects New Vice Commander

Ronald Kuczenski has been elected Sons of The American Legion detachment vice commander representing the Seventh and Eighth districts.

He was elected at the 44th Detachment of New York Annual Convention held in Rochester recently. It was also the 100th anniversary convention for the Department of New York American Legion. Rochester was the site of the first convention in 1919.

Kuczenski is a 20-year member of Lakewood Memorial Squadron 1286. He is also a past Chautauqua County And Eighth District SONS commander. As vice commander, Kuczenski will be responsible for aiding squadrons in the 16 counties that comprise the Seventh and Eighth districts that range past Rochester and Bath. Also attending from Squadron 1286 with Kuczenski was Chis Decker, Squadron 1286 commander.
