City Seniors Convene For Coffee, Cookies

The Jamestown Senior Center, 556 E. Second St., Jamestown, met recently for coffee and cookies.

Shirley Vandenburg, director, led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and singing of God Bless America.

The dental lab at the church parking lot is accepting senior citizens who don’t have insurance for examinations, cleaning, fillings and X-rays, free of charge. For an appointment in August, call 449-1674.

Registration is being accepted for a trip Dec. 4 to the Erie Station Dinner Theatre for Christmas Memories. A matinee lunch is included in the cost of $84 per person.

Entertainment was by Pat Cook, who sang several songs by country women.

The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 28. Those attending should bring a dish to pass and their own table service.
