Approximately 1,183 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University’s graduation exercises, held on campus at the HTC Student Recreation Center and Convocation Center in three separate ceremonies May 5. Rachel VanRensselaer, a communication major from Randolph, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Rachel is now employed by Baton Media in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Rachel is the daughter of Howie and Gretchen VanRensselaer; grandparents, Howard and Bethany VanRensselaer and Daniel Kartman all of Randolph and the late Gayle Anderson Kartman and Judith Parkhurst Pauley.
