An antique appraisal fundraising event was held at the Cassadaga Branch of the Mary E. Seymour Memorial Library recently. Family treasures, garage sale oddities, items of interest and collectibles were identified and appraised by a volunteer team of experts. Volunteers appraising items were, from left, Elise Fila, John Nathan, Vince Martonis, Carl Fila and Tom Karapantso. Proceeds will be used for future library programs.
