JHS Names Students Of The Month
Cyrus Morano, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the son of Chris Morano and Julie Morano. Cyrus played football in the fall for the freshman team and he is a member of Key Club. In his spare time, he enjoys playing games and watching sports. After graduation, Cyrus plans to attend college.
Madison Christ, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Tara Underwood and James Christ. Madison is a member of the Key Club and takes advanced classes at the high school. She is also a member of the Girls’ Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Softball teams, and she received a scholar-athlete award. When she is not in school, she participates in some church activities, her favorite is the Yassou Festival that is thrown every year. After graduation, she plans to go to JCC for a couple years then to the University of Kentucky to someday become a radiologist.
Micaela Cleveland, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Amy Cleveland and Michael Cleveland. Micaela is one of the Junior Class Presidents and Co-President of the Mock Trial Team. She plays the oboe in the Symphonic Band. She is also a member of the JHS Free Press and Yearbook Club. Outside of school, she volunteers at her church. After graduation, she plans on pursing a career in education.
Alivia Roehrig, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Amy and Jay Roehrig. She has been a part of the school musical every year, sings with the A Cappella Choir and Madrigal Singers, participated in Marching Band for four years, has been playing viola since fifth grade, and is currently first chair for Chamber Orchestra. She recently went to All-State for voice in November. She is a member of the National Honor Society Chapter at JHS as well. In her free time, she likes to read and write. She is an employee for Media One Group Radio and enjoys her work. She plans to go to JCC for Communications after graduation.
