Benefit For Cassadaga Valley Employee Today

SINCLAIRVILLE — Today at noon, a benefit dinner will be held in the Sinclairville Firehall dining room. The benefit is to help a Cassadaga Valley Central School employee, Karen Tolman, who was diagnosed with C.R.E.S.T. syndrome five years ago.

This is a rare disease with no cure, and it is taking its toll on her health. Karen now has limited abilities to work, and increasing expenses.

Karen has been a local resident for 28 years and a Cassadaga Valley School employee for 14 years. The dinner will feature a spaghetti dinner with tomato sauce and meatballs, salad, read, coffee, lemonade and delicious pie for dessert. All proceeds from this dinner will go to Karen.

During the event will be a bag auction and bake sale, all beginning at noon. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time at the Sinclairville Library, or the Sinclairville 76ers luncheon site, or the Park United Methodist Church or the Cassadaga Shur-Fine, or Bethany Camp. Also tickets may be purchased from Jane Denison, Diane Maloy, Doris Richardson or Dolores Himes. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. The cost is $9 per person, and all proceeds go to Karen. Everyone is welcome to attend.
