CHERRY CREEK — The former village of Cherry Creek and its history will be celebrated Saturday with an Open House to be held in the Cherry Creek Library, between the hours of 2-4 p.m. The library is located on Main Street at the main intersection. With the vote last year, residents decided to dissolve the village, which was founded in 1893. The event is sponsored by the Cherry Creek Community Association Inc., which invite the public to join them as they celebrate the rich history of the village and the end of an era.
