JHS Names October Students Of The Month
Abigail Roof, a freshmen at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Lyle and Wendy Roof. Abigail plays the violin in the Concert Orchestra and plays the xylophone in Symphonic Band. She is in the marching band and sings in the mixed chorus. Abigail is a part of Impact Campus Fellowship, Needlework Club, Raider Readers and Broadcast Communications Club. Abigail has no plans as of yet for after graduation.
Clayton Hitchcock, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the son of Trevor and Karen Hitchcock. Clayton is a very hard worker in school and enjoys math, science and Spanish classes. He has been on the honor roll at JHS each quarter of both his freshmen and sophomore years. He was a member of the Junior High National Honor Society at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. In his spare time, Clayton is an avid collector of vintage video games and gaming systems. After graduation, Clayton plans to go to college to study Computer Engineering, Coding and Software Design.
Izzy Knapp, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Shane & Erin Knapp, Izzy is in Student Council and is a member of the Girls Varsity Volleyball team. After graduation, she plans to study criminal justice.
Oakleigh Gilbert, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Sandy Gilbert. Oakleigh is a representative for the JHS Business Academy. Oakleigh has been a part of the Varsity Girls Swim team and Varsity Track team. After high school, Oakleigh plans to attend Morrisville State College and study Equine Science and Management.
