Washington Middle School Announces Students Of Month

Washington Middle School officials recently released the school’s April Students of the Month. They are:
Conner Degnan, fifth grade and the son of Bill and Amanda Degnan. He likes to play outside with his sister in his spare time and his favorite classes are math and science. Mrs. Hill has made a difference in his life because she has taught him many different ways to get better at subjects he doesn’t know. In the future, he wants to play hockey for Chicago.
Drew Williams, sixth grade and the son of Holly and Jason Williams. His favorite subjects are science and social studies and says Mr. Kresge has made a difference in his life by talking to him about history. In his spare time he likes to play video games. In the future he wants to get a job at Chautauqua Comics.
Queens King, seventh grade and the daughter of Kerry King. Her favorite subjects are English language arts and math and she has been influenced by Ms. Hagglund because she is always there when she needs someone to talk to. She enjoys cheerleading and hanging out with her friends in her spare time and in the future she would like to become a nurse.
Madison Smith, eighth grade and the daughter of Mark and Cindy Smith. She enjoys playing sports, hanging out with friends, and going on trips in her spare time. His favorite subject in school is biology and believes Ms. Hagglund has helped her for many years and she loved having her as a teacher. She would also like to thank Mr. Miraglia and Mrs. Pitts. In the future, she plans to travel while she’s young and become a psychologist for a large company.
