The Tiffany Wakeley Academy of Dance will present its recital, “Unforgettable … A Tribute to Icons and Legends” on Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Southwestern High School auditorium. The recital pays tribute people, places and things that have left their mark on our culture. Representing Alexander Hamilton are: Becca Feldman, Erin Fransen, Adrianna Bell, Julia Jablonski, Jenna Stockwell, Mikayla Johnson, Kathryn Jaroszynski, Bethany Stravato, Karlie Allen, Maddy Dorman, Taylor Stevens, Amanda Syper, Hannah Finson and Grace Larson. Each year the academy also performs a number for a cause. This year it will be a lyrical dance paying tribute to Mother Teresa. The cause will be the WNY Kidney Connection, which is a site for potential living kidney donors and those in need to communicate. A collection will be taken at the door during intermission. Tickets are $8 and will be available at the door. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Southwestern Central School musical.
