JHS Announces 16 All-WNY Fall Scholar Athletes

Jamestown High School is proud to announce that 16 students on the school’s fall varsity sports teams qualified as New York State Public High School Athletic Association’s Section VI Scholar Athlete Individual Awards. To qualify, each senior’s overall grade point must be an average of 90 or above for six semesters and be a starter or important reserve. JHS’ All-WNY Fall Scholar Athletes were:

“Being named to the All-Western New York Academic Team is a special honor,” said JPS Athletic Director Ben Drake. “These young men and women truly epitomize what the term, student-athlete, means. Not only are they great athletes, but these seniors also maintained an overall grade point average of 90 percent or higher during their four years at JHS. They are great role models for our younger athletes and we are all very proud of them.”
