The Mozart Club recently observed a program with special guests from Philomel of Warren on Oct. 19.

The performers were  soprano, Christine Kurtz , who sang two songs, one by Richard Strauss; pianist, Jean Eichney, who played Chopin’s Barcarole;  mezzo-soprano, Carolyn Worley,  who offered art songs by Vivaldi and Giannini ; and flutists, Becky Darfee and Mary Palmer, who performed a duet of Toccata and Fugue by Bach  and a piece by Sayer.

The next meeting is on  Wednesday, Dec. 14, in Bellinger Chapel, First Prebyterian Church, 509 Prendergast Ave., Jamestown,. The program , Merry Christmas from the Mozart Chorus,  begins at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon.
