JCC, Clarion University Sign Agreement On Library Science Degree

Jamestown Community College and Clarion University of Pennsylvania have signed a new agreement that facilitates the transfer of JCC graduates into Clarion’s library science degree program.

The agreement guarantees acceptance, with junior standing, of JCC students who graduate with an associate degree. It also guarantees the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree in four semesters to students who take courses specified in the agreement as part of their JCC degree.

Students who transfer to Clarion can choose to take their courses at the university, online, or in any combination at Clarion and online. Clarion will accept up to the equivalent of 90 specified credits in transfer from JCC toward fulfillment of requirements for the bachelor’s degree, leaving as few as 30 credits to be taken with Clarion.

Located north of Pittsburgh and founded in 1867, Clarion has an undergraduate enrollment of about 6,000 students and features more than 100 academic programs.

An overview of the transfer agreements is available at sunyjcc.edu/transfer/agreements.

Starting at $3.50/week.
