The Chautauqua Mall Cinema is excited to announce the re-opening of the Chautauqua Mall movie theater.

“We were closed for the last two weeks to prepare the theater,” said Michael Clement, president of Dipson Theatres. “Step one of several more renovations for this location has been completed.”

Dipson Theatres has just completed the installation of 150 new VIP electric-lounge reclining chairs in both auditoriums. The new seats will allow for a much more comfortable movie-going experience than anything previously provided. The seats are also set up for future reserved seating if necessary.

Future upgrades planned include new, larger screens, bathroom renovations, new heating and air conditioning next month and miscellaneous cosmetic upgrades.

The Chautauqua Mall Cinema will again be showing all first-run movies. The prices will be the same as the existing pricing categories for the Lakewood Cinema. The number of showings per day will also increase with matinees more often, just like at the Lakewood Cinema 8.
