Miss Scarpino is the daughter of Dr. James and Valerie Scarpino. She is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a bachelor’s of early childhood education and a master’s of school counseling. Currently, she is working as a substitute teacher in several school districts in the surrounding area.
Miss Scarpino is very excited for this opportunity, she said.
“I am truly honored to be a part of this wonderful organization and this unique once in a lifetime opportunity,” Scarpino said. “I am also excited to represent Jamestown in the pageant.”
Scarpino was recently informed of her acceptance, and is hoping that the community will offer support.
“I have always been involved in the community throughout my life, especially by working the St. Joseph spaghetti dinners and our annual Italian Festival at St. John RC Church in Jamestown,” Scarpino said. “I hope that the community in return, helps me.”
