Cummins Inc. welcomed the AEM Manufacturing Express to its Jamestown facility as part of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers' (AEM's) month-long tour across the Northeast and Ohio.
The visit spotlighted Cummins' leadership in equipment manufacturing and celebrated the 2.2 million men and women who build, feed, and power the world.
"Cummins was honored to showcase our team and operations on the AEM Manufacturing Express," said Shawn Hricko, plant manager at Cummins' Jamestown Engine Plant. "This event gives us a platform to celebrate our employees and demonstrate how Cummins supports our community."
During the event, participants took AEM's "Manufacturing Challenge" for a chance to win prizes and were invited to join AEM's grassroots initiative, I Make America.
"The AEM Manufacturing Express celebrates the people and communities at the heart of the equipment manufacturing industry," said Megan Tanel, AEM's president and CEO. "The continued popularity of this tour among our members is a testament to its impact. Across the country, millions of Americans play a role in making the equipment that builds our infrastructure and feeds our nation. This tour gives us an opportunity to recognize their hard work, share their stories, and build pride in American-made equipment."
