City Native Launches Uplifting Clothing Collection

Kim Survil, a Jamestown native and Allegany resident, recently launched the Reminder Collection, a new online clothing brand.
ALLEGANY – In a world where it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, Jamestown native Kim Survil is hoping to make encouragement a little more wearable and a lot more accessible.
Survil is the founder of Reminder Collection, a new online apparel brand that Survil said attempts to help people feel seen, supported, and reminded of their worth. Each piece features bold affirmations on the front, paired with thoughtfully chosen quotes on the back. The trademark-pending logo mark appears both inside the neckline and below each message, a symbol of the brand’s purpose and identity.
Survival grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Southwestern Central School in 2000. She has lived in Allegany with her family since 2010.
“This idea came from real life moments, where I was juggling everything, feeling maxed out, and just needed something simple and kind to hold onto,” Survil said. “Some days, a few powerful words can make all the difference. If they’re printed on your own shirt, even better.”
Beyond the clothing, the brand is focused on creating a supportive online community that welcomes people from all across the United States. Survil said she credits her trademark attorney, Vincent G. LoTempio of Buffalo, for helping her navigate the legal side of the business with care and flexibility.
“He made the trademark process feel achievable, even when I was squeezing in calls and emails after hours,” she said.
The collection is now live at remindercollection.com. Information is also available on Facebook at Reminder Collection.
