Tammy Hess Schmitt

The Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Realtors has named Tammy Hess Schmitt of Forestville as its 2024 Realtor of the Year.

Criteria for the award include involvement at the local and state Realtor Association, community activity and charitable giving, Realtor spirit and adherence to the Realtor Code of Ethics.

A member of the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Realtors since 2004, Hess Schmitt is an active member of the board’s public relations committee, MLS Committee and Board of Directors. She chairs the organization’s Fair Housing and DEI Committee. In addition, Hess Schmitt serves on multiple committees for the New York State Association of Realtors and was recently appointed to the NYSAR Board of Directors for 2025.

The Realtor of the Year is nominated and selected by members of the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Board of Realtors.
