Ken Stinson

Usherwood Office Technology has named Ken Stinson president.

In his new duties with the company, Stinson will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, strategic planning for the organization, and will serve as a leader in the company.

In Stinson’s previous six years with Usherwood, he served as the company’s vice president of sales and worked with the leadership team to increase company revenues by 49% in his time in that position. Stinson also helped augment the company’s expansion into New England with the addition of seven new offices and the Odyssey Distribution Center in Worcester, Mass.

“Ken is the first non-family member to become President of Usherwood Office Technology and our family could not be more proud of our decision,” said Lou Usherwood, company CEO. “Ken has a holistic view of our industry and a keen sense of what it takes to be successful in the information technology space. Our goal is to double our revenues in the next five years and Ken is the person to lead us down that path. He has earned the respect of our employees and we are excited to grow into the future with Ken as our nucleus.”

Prior to joining Usherwood, Stinson had more than 12 years experience in the office technology industry. He has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the State University at Buffalo.

He lives in East Amherst with his wife Jean, and his three sons: Kenny (16), 13-year-old twins, Cole and Trey. In his spare time, Stinson enjoys golfing, basketball, and also coaches little league baseball.

Besides its Syracuse headquarters, Usherwood also has New York branch sales and services offices in Binghamton, Utica, Watertown, Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Jamestown, Potsdam, and Plattsburgh. It also has locations outside New York that include Burlington, Vermont; Hartford, Connecticut; Boston, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; and West Lebanon, New Hampshire; and Auburn, Mass.
