Debra Hayes

Debra Hayes has been named divisional vice president and trust officer of Northwest Bank. Nathan Weaver, CFP, CTFA, Divisional Vice President, Manager of Personal Trust Administration, made the announcement.

As trust officer, Hayes will be responsible for the administration of trusts, investment management accounts, IRAs, estates, guardianships and custodial accounts. She will assist customers with their finances, review their portfolios, provide financial education and recognize trust opportunities. In addition, she’ll focus on new business development for Northwest Trust Services in Northwestern Pennsylvania and Southern New York, while also providing excellent customer service to current clients in those areas.

Hayes comes to Northwest from PNC’s Wealth Management division, where she served as Vice President for five years and Client Advisor in Retail for five years. She studied psychology at the Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of McDowell High School.

Active in the community, Hayes serves as Secretary of SafeNet’s Board of Directors, Treasurer of the Revitalization of Youngsville Organization and as a member of the Athena Governing Board. She also supports the Erie Playhouse and United Way of Erie County.

Hayes is the daughter of Joyce and the late Carl Michael Russell of Erie, Pa. She has three children, Taylor, Logan and Brandon.
