DUNKIRK — The Fredonia Technology Incubator will be conducting a virtual Founders Luncheon with RJ and Lindsey Marvin, owners of Buffalo’s Barrel +Brine.

The event will cover how they got started, what challenges they have faced, and where they are now.

“This is a terrific opportunity to hear from successful entrepreneurs in the food related industry,” said Chuck Cornell, incubator director. “We are looking forward to them sharing their story with us.”

This event will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, March 31, from noon to 1 p.m. The event is free to the public and guests are encouraged to register at www.eventbrite.com/e/founders-story-with-barrel-brine-tickets-143310568769. The link can also be located on the incubator website and social media pages. For more information, call 680-6009 or email incubator@fredonia.edu.

Barrel + Brine opened at its first location in 2015 and is owned by husband/wife team RJ and Lindsey Marvin. The company is a culinary operation dedicated to pickled products. Not only does it specialize in pickled products, but it also makes kombucha and kimchi. In 2018, the couple moved their business to Chandler Street, a StartUp NY location, where they added a cafe and taproom. Products are sold at both Wegmans and Whole Foods, along with other small shops.
