Monofrax Raises Money To Support TRC

Kris Trubic, left, production administrator at Monofrax in Falconer, presents a $540 check to Victoria Trass Bardo, development and events manager at Filling the Gap, Inc.

Monofrax recently held a bowling tournament to benefit Step Up for Autism, an annual event that raises money to support the services The Resource Center provides to people on the autism spectrum.

“The pandemic has had a major impact on community and charitable events. Monofrax wanted to give back and help raise awareness,” said Kris Trubic, a production administrator at Monofrax of the company’s decision to hold a charity bowling tournament. “Autism affects many families in Western New York. If it does not affect your family, chances are you know someone whose family it does touch.”

She praised the operators of the Jamestown Bowling Company for providing a COVID-safe environment for the tournament and thanked those who donated items for a basket raffle.

Trubic said Monofrax officials were pleased with the event and plan to hold a similar tournament next year.
