CHQ Center Adds Chiropractor
The Chautauqua Center has announced the addition of a chiropractor to their team of providers.
Dr. Joel Newburg is accepting new patients at The Chautauqua Center’s Dunkirk and Jamestown sites. Newburg is originally from Portville and now resides in Dunkirk with his wife and family. He received a degree in exercise science from State University of New York at Fredonia before attending New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls where he earned his doctor of chiropractic degree in 2017. He worked in Dunkirk as an associate chiropractor for one year, and eventually bought the practice, which he renamed Newburg Spine and Sports.
Newburg will be providing a wide range of chiropractic services at The Chautauqua Center and will see patients on Thursdays, alternating between Dunkirk and Jamestown. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including low back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle pain. Treatment methods utilized are spinal manipulation, therapeutic exercise, flexion distraction, soft tissue massage and decompression.
Chiropractic services offer an alternative to traditional pain management and can increase overall wellness through improved circulation, joint health and nerve system function. Patients from all over Chautauqua County are encouraged to schedule an appointment to experience how this treatment can improve their health and quality of life.
The Chautauqua Center has locations in Dunkirk and Jamestown, and is always accepting new patients. Other services include primary care, women’s health, pediatrics, behavioral health, dental care, substance abuse services, insurance enrollment and pharmacy.
The Chautauqua Center accepts all insurances, including Medicaid, and offers a sliding fee scale and payment plans. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit tcchealth.org.
