Dr. Lynn Pownall and Dr. Tamsin Pope of Brookside Chiropractic Center, located in Brooklyn Square, welcome Dr. Zachary Kiendl to their team.

Kiendl is a 2009 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2013 graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia. After earning his bachelor’s degree, Kiendl attended D’Youville College in Buffalo where he earned his doctor of chiropractic degree in 2019. While attending D’Youville College, Kiendl was an active member of The Student American Chiropractic Association, most recently serving as chapter president before graduation. While a student, Kiendl had the privilege of completing rotations at the University of Buffalo Neuro Surgery Clinic and at Erie County Medical Center.

“The experience and training I received while rotating through these clinics has allowed me to gain valuable insight into the management and treatment of diverse populations.” Kiendl said. “I am looking forward to using this knowledge and training to serve those in Chautauqua County and the surrounding areas.”

Kiendl, the son of Mary Ann and Mark Kiendl, and grandson of Carolyn Thomas of Jamestown, is excited to give back to the community that allowed him to grow.

A recent study conducted by Yale University found that patients seeking chiropractic care for spinal pain were 49% less likely to turn to opioids and other prescription pain medicine for pain management. Chiropractors manage and diagnose conditions related to the neuromusculoskeletal and nervous systems using the latest evidence based treatment techniques to achieve beneficial outcomes such as pain reduction and increased mobility.

Brookside Chiropractic is located at 25 Harrison St., Jamestown, and accepts most insurances. All providers at the location are currently accepting new patients. The office may be reached by calling 664-5966.
