Lake Shore Awards Nonprofits
Lake Shore Bancorp Inc., the holding company for Lake Shore Savings Bank, announced it has awarded $14,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations throughout Erie and Chautauqua counties.
The bank’s Community Reinvestment Committee, comprised of four members from local communities, is charged with reviewing all submitted grant applications and deciding what nonprofits will receive grant awards, which are awarded twice a year. Employees of Lake Shore Savings Bank do not play a role in the decision-making process.
The following organizations were recipients of the latest grant awards: Food Bank of WNY; Chautauqua Opportunities; Robert H. Jackson Center; United Way of Northern Chautauqua County; Boutwell Hill Ski Club Inc.; Feed The Children (and Senior Citizens) Program; Northlake Family Recreation Center; SABAH; Seneca Street CDC; and Chautauqua County Office for the Aging.
“We are so proud to continue to award such deserving organizations with much-needed funding to support the invaluable work they do throughout our communities,” said Daniel P. Reininga, president and CEO.
