TitanX To Expand Job Opportunities

TitanX Engine Cooling, headquartered in Mjallby, Sweden, has won a U.S. contract to supply engine cooling modules.

With the signed award letter for this multiyear, multimillion dollar contract, TitanX has solidified its position as a leader in engine cooling for medium and heavy-duty trucks in North America.

“I am extremely proud that TitanX will continue to support world class customers with state of the art technology and engineering for the next truck generation. It also further strengthens our relationship with this major global truck manufacturer who has a long history of doing business with TitanX,” said Thomas Andersson, TitanX CEO.

The product development, which includes the design and validation testing of the cooling modules, will be completed by the TitanX engineering team at its Jamestown location, creating employment opportunities in sales, engineering and testing.

“This big and important contract will help to diversify our customer base in our North American operations, which includes the Jamestown facility as well as the plant in Saltillo, Mexico, and further enhances our position as the market leader of engine cooling components for commercial vehicles,” said Sam LaMancuso, TitanX North American sales director.

At production start this contract is expected to generate an additional 40 to 50 job opportunities.
