The new headquarters for a Jamestown development company is almost complete.

Jason Spain, Lynn Development CEO, said the only items left to finish at their new headquarters is to pave the parking lot and make some minor aesthetic improvements. He said company officials would like to pave the parking lot before asphalt companies close for the year in the fall.

Spain said about six months of work has gone into renovating the two houses that is Lynn Development’s new headquarters, located at 1351 and 1353 N. Main St.

“We had to completely gut the north building,” he said. “The south building was in great shape.”

As part of the redevelopment plans, a connector was built between the two buildings, which used to be residential houses.

Spain said city and county officials have been great to work with during the renovation project. He said Lynn Development also purchased additional land that was owned by Moonbrook County Club between their new headquarters and Tim Hortons.

There is space to lease at the new business location. Spain said there is about 2,500 square feet to lease, which includes 1,900 square feet of shared space that includes a kitchenette, conference room and a reception area.

“We don’t need all the space we have, so we are leasing out one of the buildings,” he said.

In November 2017, Clark Patterson Lee officials discussed Lynn Developments new headquarter project with the city Planning Commission. The project to redevelop the houses into corporate offices will includes the addition of 18 parking spaces. The city Planning Commission approved the site plan and the State Environmental Quality Review impact assessment study for the project.

Before relocating to its new headquarters, Lynn Development was located at the Lynn Building, 301 E. Second St. The Jamestown Renaissance Corp. moved into Lynn Development’s former space at the Lynn Building in 2017.
