CCB Welcomes New Lender

Doug Nelson

LITTLE VALLEY — Doug Nelson recently joined the management team at Cattaraugus County Bank as vice president and business relationship manager.

Nelson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

Nelson comes to CCB with 12 years of service in the banking industry. His service to the community is strongly evidenced by his involvement in several nonprofit organizations. These include president of the board of directors for the Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club; co-chair for the United Way campaign business team; past advisory board member for the Jamestown Salvation Army. In addition, Nelson is a Junior Achievement volunteer and a member of the Chautauqua Leadership Network.

“I am truly excited to join the CCB family,” Nelson said. “It’s very easy to see that the folks at CCB really care about and for the people and businesses they serve. I am looking forward to working with business owners to help them with all of their banking needs.”

His addition to CCB’s team will facilitate independent, community bank growth of CCB in many of the areas it serves. Nelson, his wife, Olivia, and their two children make their home in Frewsburg.

“We’re very excited that Nelson has joined our CCB Team,” said Mike Wimer, CCB president and CEO. “His experience in different areas of banking give Doug the insight and skills to develop the trust & confidence of clients. I am certain Doug will grow long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. He’s a Team player who is a true community banker at heart.”
