Center Hosts Women In Networking Program

For more than a decade, the Small Business Development Center at Jamestown Community College has hosted the Women in Networking Chautauqua program on the second Thursday of every month.

This program is for female business owners and women working in the business sector. The women meet for a luncheon to exchange ideas, experiences and address challenging issues. Each person briefly shares their latest business news and then participates in a learning opportunity with a presentation on a topic of interest. The SBDC has helped to build productive business relationships that benefit women throughout the region with this program.

The next Women in Networking Chautauqua program will take place on Thursday, July 11, at 11:30 a.m. at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History in Jamestown. The topic will focus on a move to be more visionary and creative and other changes taking place within human resources. The speaker will be Nickey Riczker, Jamestown Community College human resources director.

Cost to attend is $15. To make a reservation or for more information, contact the SBDC at 338-1024.
