TitanX Appoints Names New CEO

Thomas Andersson

On Nov. 1, Thomas Andersson starts as chief executive officer of TitanX Engine Cooling.

He succeeds Stefan Nordstrom, who leaves the company at his own request.

Thomas Andersson is currently head of group operations at Consolis, a leading precast concrete solution provider in Europe. Between 2012 and 2016, he was chief operating officer at TitanX. Previously, he had leading positions at Volvo Cars Engine and Volvo Group Powertrain.

“Thomas Andersson’s customer background and operations experience were key factors in the selection process, and his deep knowledge of the company makes for a stable and seamless handover,” said Praveen Kadle, TitanX chairman. “We thank Stefan Nordstrom for leading the company during its remarkable development.”

During Nordstrom’s eight years at the helm, TitanX has transformed from a small company with three individual factories carved out from Valeo and owned by EQT into a mid-size global company with seven factories on four continents. It is now a world leader in powertrain cooling equipment to commercial vehicles, since 2016 under the ownership of Tata AutoComp Systems Limited.

“After eight years, it is time to do something different and hand over the helm to somebody else,” Nordstrom said.
