Ed Shults Subaru and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society announced a third year of collaboration to provide much needed support and “warmth” to patients fighting cancer and their families at UPMC Chautauqua Cancer Treatment Center.

During Subaru Loves to Care month, LLS and Ed Shults Subaru provided blankets and messages of hope to patients undergoing cancer treatment at UPMC Chautauqua Cancer Treatment Center. Visitors to Subaru retailers were given the chance to share personalized messages of hope to patients in our local community, which was delivered alongside blankets to provide comfort and warmth as they continue their fight against cancer.

“Through our Subaru Love Promise we aim to make the world a better place and our owners care deeply about giving back in their local communities,” said Darren Hills, sales manager of Ed Shults Subaru. “We are proud to team up with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for Subaru Loves to Care month to help provide care and support to patients battling cancer and their families. The messages of hope are so inspiring, from one woman’s words stating, ‘People Do go into remission’ to a child’s drawing of a person smiling. It’s those words that inspire us to have hope and do good things for our community.”
