Puppy Love Pet Grooming Moves To New Location
Those looking to take their dogs for a wash and cut can find a familiar grooming business now located in the city of Jamestown.
Puppy Love Pet Grooming recently moved from its former location at 15 Cross St. in Falconer to a new site at 421 E. Second St. Emily Haskins, who recently took over as owner, said the new location is working out very well.
“Our new location is nice because we’re out in the public eye,” she said. “We used to be on a dead end. It’s nice that people finally can see us.”
The business, which has been around for 18 years, offers breed-specific grooms and other pet grooms that people would like their dogs to have. Services include a bath, nail clipping, hair cuts and more. Haskins said they also offer hair dye colors, hair extensions and other creative grooming aspects.
“I’ve been grooming for 18 years,” Haskins said. “I started when I was 15 years old as a prepper. That’s all I’ve ever done.”
Haskins is joined by two other groomers in Dakota Thompson and Cinnamon Becker. Haskins and Thompson are taking new clients. Haskins said they work up to six days a week to ensure there’s no long wait to get in. The grooming business also offers evening and weekend appointments.
“Our hours go based on clients’ needs,” Haskins said. “We’re here usually Monday through Saturday. There’s two of us here up to six days a week if needed. “
