RANDOLPH – If you’ve been waiting for a place to spend the night in Randolph when you visit the Amish Trail, your wait is over.

The Inn At One Bank Street is the new business providing overnight accommodations to tourists visiting the Randolph area for destinations like the Amish Trail.

Tonia Hall, inn keeper, said the business will soon offer four rooms to guests. There are two suites and two guest rooms in the inn. The suites offer a king-size bed, a full kitchenette, a living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. For the guest rooms, one offers a queen-size bed while the other offers two twin-size beds and is handicapped accessible.

All the rooms are newly designed, clean and have private bathrooms. The inn features air conditioning, mini-refrigerators, coffee makers and free Wi-Fi.

Hall said the inn is located in the heart of Randolph’s historic downtown and offers an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. There are golf packages, spa packages, guided Amish tours and an in-room massage available with reservations.

“There was an obvious need for overnight accommodations,” Hall said. “With the Amish Trail, people are coming from all over the world to take the tour. I had a couple from California here for the Amish Trail tour.”

Hall said the owners of the building are Don Harrington and Jim Walton of Jamestown. She said they purchased the building with a state Main Street Grant in 2010 after the village dissolved.

Hall has 12 years experience operating a hotel, which she did in Florida.

“It is what I’ve always wanted to do,” she said. “I love meeting different people. A chance to talk to people from all over is great, and they always have something interesting to say.”

Hall also works for the town of Randolph, and enjoys promoting the municipality and its businesses.

“I love to show off Randolph. I’m glad people are coming here and that I can show it to them,” she said.
