Rails To Trails Picnic To Celebrate Chautauqua Trails Day Is June 21 A family picnic is planned by Chautauqua Rails to Trails on this, the inaugural event on the first Chautauqua Trails Day. The event is open to the public at noon on Saturday, June 21, at the Prospect Station Trailhead. The organization will supply hotdogs, fruit salad, lemonade, and water. Busti Historical Society To Host Corn Grinding Sunday BUSTI - The Busti Historical Society will be grinding corn Sunday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the mill, 3443 Lawson Road, Busti. The society holds a 20c agricultural license to grind and sell cornmeal and buckwheat flour. The public is invited to see and tour the working mill. The event is free, donations are accepted. The mill was built in 1839 and remained in operation until 1960. It produced wheat flour, cornmeal, buckwheat flour, and animal feed.
