Willem Dafoe Film To Show At Reg Lenna Center For The Arts.
From director Kent Jones (Diane), Oscar-nominated screenwriter Samy Burch (May December), and based on Arthur Schnitzler's novella of the same name, Late Fame will be screened at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts. The film stars Willem Dafoe and Greta Lee. Late Fame is unrated and is 96 minutes long. Upcoming movies at The Reg include: Will Poulter in the addiction drama Union City (Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.) – the animated feature Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom (Oct. 17 at 4 p.m.) – Matt Damon in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic poem The Odyssey (Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. – The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Oct. 30 at 10 p.m.) – Cat Video Fest 2026 (Nov. 14 at 2 p.m.) – and a screening of A Christmas Story (Nov., 21 at 6 p.m.) hosted by one of the actors from the film – Scott Schwartz – who played “Flick.” Tickets for most Movies at The Reg are $8 in-person at the box office and $10 online (reglenna.com) and by phone at 716-484-7070. County Agriculture, Farmland Protection Board To Meet Oct. 9
MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board will meet at 9 a.m. 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. Baker Street Road Project Begins Today
BUSTI – Baker Street in the town of Busti between Hoag Road and South Maple Avenue.15 miles west of the South Maple Avenue intersection will be closed for drainage structure repairs. The repair work is expected to begin today, Oct. 5, and is anticipated to last no longer than two weeks. A detour will be posted. Drivers should plan to use an alternate route.
Ellicott To Hold Town Board Meeting Today
The Ellicott Town Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. today in the board room. Items on the agenda include presentation of the town's 2026 budget. The public is welcome to attend.
