Stockton Fire Department to celebrate 105 years
STOCKTON -- On Saturday, Stockton will be celebrating 105 years of service to the community and surrounding areas.
Starting at 10 a.m., the gates will open at the Stockton Fireman's Grounds for a day filled with fun, food, activities, live music, bounce house and raffles. Proclamations and guest speakers will arrive at 1 p.m. to recognize the historical value that Stockton Volunteer Fire Company is to the community. Live music will play "The Freeze" from 6 to 9 p.m. and ending the night around 9, fireworks will light up the sky followed by a bonfire to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Chautauqua County Parks Commission meeting Thursday August 27 at 10:00 am at the Chautauqua County Airport. The public is welcome to attend.
Prendergast Library To Host Makerspace Mondays
The James Prendergast Library will host Makerspace Mondays from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for drop-in programs in the Makerspace. Activities are intended for all ages, though younger children may need assistance. Among special activities are origami on Sept. 14, making air clay creatures on Sept. 21 and Doodlebots, robots that can draw, on Sept. 28. The Makerspace is also available for open play on Mondays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Kennedy Library To Host Nature Photography Until Sept. 18
