Library, Clay House To Host Workshop
The Prendergast Library and Pearl City Clayhouse will offer a Pinch Pot Bunny workshop from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16. Registration is required due to limited available spots. Those attending will create a bunny from clay using simple pinch and sculpting methods, with the session appropriate for beginners and experienced crafters alike. The hands-on process encourages creativity and allows crafters to personalize their bunny with unique poses, textures or decorations. No experience is needed, but patrons need to be at least 14 years old to participate. The program is funded by the Murray L. Bob Education Initiative. There is no cost to attend. Rabies Clinic Is Saturday In Westfield
WESTFIELD – The Chautauqua County Health Department, in partnership with the Town of Westfield, Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue will host a rabies vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 16, at the Westfield Highway Department, 118 Chestnut St., Westfield. Animals must be pre-registered to receive vaccinations. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats, and domesticated ferrets three months of age and older. While supplies last, microchipping and distemper shots will also be available through the Chautauqua County Humane Society at no cost. Pre-registration is required and should be submitted online by visiting HealthyCHQ.com/Rabies and view the calendar for upcoming clinics. Pet owners must bring previous rabies vaccination records for each animal receiving a shot to ensure proper and effective vaccination; clinic staff will confirm previous rabies vaccination records. All dogs must be on a leash. All cats and ferrets must be in individual carriers. Animal handlers will transport animals to the veterinarian for vaccination.

The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County Board of Directors will meet on Monday, May 18, at 5:30 p.m. at the Jamestown Community College Carnahan Center. The public is welcome to attend.

CASSADAGA – The Cassadaga Legion Auxiliary Unit 1280 will be holding its annual rummage and bake sale on Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale is open to the public.

FREWSBURG – The Myers Memorial Library board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
Coffee & Cars Is Saturday At McCrae Point
The Chautauqua Lake Region Club of the Antique Automobile Club of America will be hosting its first Coffee & ; Cars of 2026, gathering at the gazebo at McCrea Point in Jamestown on Sunday, May 17, from 9 to 11 a.m., rain or shine. The public is invited to attend and talk with car enthusiasts, see some interesting vehicles and enjoy coffee, donuts and conversation. All car enthusiasts are welcome.
