Agricultural Farmland Protection Board To Meet

MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board will meet at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 30, in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. Bethlehem Lutheran Church To Host Chicken Dinner Thursday

FALCONER – Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Falconer will host a takeout chicken and biscuit dinner on Thursday April 30, from 4:30 p.m. until sold out. The price will be $10 for adults and $5 for children under 6. Dinner, vegetables and dessert are included. The church is located at 20 N. Phetteplace St., Falconer. Trustees Set Special Budget Meeting

LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Board of Trustees have called for a special meeting of the trustees to be conducted at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 30, in the Board Room of the Anthony C. Caprino Municipal Building, 20 W. Summit St., to discuss and adopt the 2026-2027 Lakewood Budget for the fiscal year June 1 to May 31, 2027. In accordance with Open Meetings Law, anyone in the general public is welcome to attend.

Prendergast Library To Host All-Ages Crafting

The James Prendergast Library will host all-ages crafting from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 2. This month, those attending will make fairy jars. Materials are provided. There is no cost to attend the program, which will be held in front of the main entrance, weather-permitting. ILS Veterans Club To Serve Spaghetti And Meatballs May 9

The ILS Veterans Club, 364 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown will be serving spaghetti and meatballs dinners at the post on Saturday, May 9, from 4 to 6 p.m., or until gone. The cost of the dinner is $12 for adults and $7 for children and dinners will include salad and bread. Take-out dinners are available. The dinner is open to the public. The AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary will have desserts for sale to benefit its programs. The post will open at 1 p.m.
