MHA Extends Hours At North County Center

DUNKIRK – The Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County has extended hours at its North County recovery center. The center is now open Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 601 Eagle St., Dunkirk. Grant Manager Michelle Colaiacovo can provide Narcan training for individuals on a walk-in basis every Thursday and can accommodate large groups with notice. The MHA is seeking a part-time bilingual (Spanish and English) peer for the Dunkirk center; visit MHAChautauqua.org/jobs for details. Randolph School Board To Meet April 21

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Central School District Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 21, at 6 p.m. in the Randolph High School library. The public is welcome to attend.

April Meeting for Benjamin Prescott Chapter NSDAR

The Benjamin Prescott Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution met recently. The group discussed the America 250 celebration, including planting a liberty tree and hosting a project/display at the Chautauqua County History Day in August. Barbara Pietro, Elizabeth Sedlmayer, Cheryl Smith, Myra Johnston and Megan Austin are working on the project. Johnston presented a Revolutionary Minute highlighting events that happened in April in the Revolutionary War. The next meeting will be on May 7 at the Barker Library in Fredonia at 4 p.m. Those who are over 18 years of age and had an ancestor who fought or gave aid to the brave soldiers that fought and won the American Revolutionary War are eligible to join. Kennedy Library To Host Book Sale April 23-25

KENNEDY – The Kennedy Free Library will be hosting a book sale April 23-25. Hours will be Thursday and Friday, April 23-24, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be hot dogs, water, and baked goods for sale as well. The sale will include books, DVD’s, CDs, magazines and other items. The library is located at 649 Second St., Kennedy. Hazeltine Library Board To Meet April 28

BUSTI – The monthly meeting of the Hazeltine Public Library trustees will be held Tuesday, April 28, at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held at the library, 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road, and all are welcome to attend.
