Gardeners To Host Guest Speaker Wednesday

The Chautauqua County Master Gardeners will host another guest speaker feature, Jonathan Townsend of Royal Fern Nursery, via Zoom on Wednesday, April 15, from 7 to 8 p.m. Townsend will present on the importance of native plants, and how to utilize native plants in landscaping. Native plants play an important role in local ecosystems, maintaining the flora of our natural environments while also supporting local pollinators and more. Townsend’s nursery, Royal Fern Nursery, specializes in native perennials, trees, shrubs and seeds, education, and more. There is no cost to attend. To register visit tinyurl.com/ycy5xacd. East Randolph Church To Host Rummage Sale

EAST RANDOLPH – The East Randolph Methodist Church, 122 Church St., East Randolph, will host its spring rummage sale Friday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a $2 bag sale on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon.. Donations are accepted through Thursday in the church fellowship hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Catholic Bocce League Signups Are April 20

Johnny’s Mafia Benefit Is Sunday At Shawbucks

The public is invited to Johnny’s Mafia Benefit Sunday, April 19, at Shawbucks, 212 W. 2nd St., Jamestown, from 1-5 p.m. Johnny Lamancuso, a fourth grader at Fletcher Elementary School, is battling Ewing Sarcoma, a type of cancer that begins as a growth of cells in the bones and the soft tissue around the bones. There will be a Chinese Auction and many other ways to support the LaMancuso family. Complementary snacks will be provided.

Frewsburg School Board To Meet Thursday

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg Central Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in the Frewsburg Middle-High School library. The public is welcome to attend.

Ellington Baptist Church To Host Concert Friday

ELLINGTON – The Baptist Church of Ellington is presenting a concert by The Needhams, an award-winning southern Gospel group, on Friday, April 17, at 7 p.m. The concert is free, and a free-will offering will be taken. The church has an elevator and a chairlift.
