Busti Author Series Continues

BUSTI – The author series at the Hazeltine Public Library will continue Monday, April 13, and feature Arlene Coulter. A native of Washington, D.C., she writes about everyday heroes and their place in families and communities. “We welcome another new author to the library\” said director Katie Smith, “there are a number of talented authors in the area and we are pleased they are willing to share their work with the community.” The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. and is open to everyone. The meetings are free and no reservations are required. The Hazeltine Public Library is located at 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road, with off-street parking and the library and the community building are accessible. Rutledge Rural Cemetery To Host Annual Meeting April 13

RANDOLPH – The Rutledge Rural Cemetery will host its annual meeting at 6 p.m. April 13 at the Randolph Free Library. 26 Jamestown St, Randolph. The meeting is open to the public and all lot owners are urged to attend.

Falconer Village Board To Gather

FALCONER – The Falconer Village Board will meet following the budget hearing at 6 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Fire Exempts Hall, 3 Coleson Drive. The public is welcome to attend.

Bemus Point Library Board To Meet

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Library board will meet Tuesday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m. at the library. All are welcome to attend.

Jamestown School Board To Meet Thursday

The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in the boardroom of the administration building, 197 Martin Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Cassadaga Valley School Board To Meet

SINCLAIRVILLE – The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be held on Wednesday, April 15, in the Middle High School Multi-Purpose Room. A budget workshop will be held prior, at 5 p.m., and the regular meeting will convene immediately following the workshop.

UPMC Chautauqua To Host CBB Blood Drive

UPMC Chautauqua will host a Community Blood Bank blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 16. To schedule an appointment, visit https://tinyurl.com/4updr264 or call 814-456-4206. Appointments are encouraged to reduce your wait time but are not required. Walk-ins will be taken as space allows. Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good general health as well as have a valid photo ID to donate.
