St. Luke’s Thrift Shop Winter Sale Begins Today

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St., Jamestown, has all winter clothing and shoes for women, men and children available for $1. The shop is well stocked. There are a large number of ladies coats and jackets. The housewares department will also be open. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. All proceeds are used locally.

First Lutheran To Host Guest Speaker Sunday

Elaine Rissel will be the guest speaker at First Lutheran Church, Jamestown, on Sunday, March 22, at the 9 and 11 a.m. worship services, for the fifth Sunday in Lent. The choir will be singing “Out of the Depths”, directed by Julie Costantini, and guest organist will be Gail Espinoza. The public is welcome to attend.

FALCONER – Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Falconer will host a takeout spaghetti dinner on Thursday March 26, from 4:30 p.m. until sold out. The price will be $10 for adults and $5.00 for children.
